Hello my friends in cyber space, some of you know me and others do not.  We are building a great web site.  First of all I will write a biography, which will include some facts about my wife Ginny then our friend Ellen Nolan will write her biography, after those two biographies we will describe what you can expect from this soul Gospel music web site and streaming audio service. I came in to this world on August 6th in the year 1941, blind from birth because of an unusual birth defect, however this has not stopped me from having a successful life.  When I was a child about 5 years old, I wanted to be a radio announcer.  I graduated from high school in 1962, at that time I was discouraged by  Brown instate from entering their broadcasting school because I am blind,  so I did other kinds of sales work.

In the year 1972 I began my studies at the university of Minnesota, also in that year there was a very important turning point in my life, I was in the class titled introduction to broadcasting, we hade a DJ assignment, can you believe how the current of excitement flowed right threw me I was determined from that moment on to have a career in radio, and the rest is history! After that class in 1972, I worked at both university of Minnesota radio stations, also I became the announcer for the Sunday morning services at First Covenant Church, the Sunday morning service was aired on KTIS FM in Minneapolis , and radio station KICY in Nome Alaska .

Then in 1978, my life was turned around when I became interested in Black gospel music, I became the number one soul gospel announcer in Minneapolis, in both commercial and nom commercial radio stations. So, technology always moves forward, I think internet radio is great. My wife Ginny is blind and has worked as a massage therapist.

Ginny Sorenson
This is a biography of my wife Ginny. Her legal name is Virginia Rachel Sorenson. She was born on August 22, 1929, two months before the stock market crash. Her birth was a premature condition in which she lost her sight very early in life because of too much oxygen in her eyes from the incubator, and too many drops in her eyes. I would like to say she has been successfully employed in private industry, and she was self employed as a massage therapist. Finally, her life is a testimony to the Glory of God. She is a great singer, and you will enjoy her vocal abilities on our broadcast.

Ellen Nolan
Hello out there, this is Ellen Nolan.  I am Joe Sorenson’s partner in this business adventure.  I am going to tell you a  little about myself and other things. I was born here in New Mexico in Alamogordo .  I had a twin sister, but she died in an automobile accident which left me both legally blind and in a wheelchair.  That hasn’t stopped me from doing what God has called me to do.  It took me 41 years, but that is fine.
I went to the school for the visually impaired in Alamogordo New Mexico and graduated from there in 1986.  I tried to further my education, but my health prevented me from doing that, so I went to work after I got healthy. My first lengthy job was at Red Lobster where I stayed there for 5 years.  I also worked for the Albuquerque Journal where I sold news papers for 8 years.  I also transcribed children’s books into Braille.  That didn’t last very long because the same stuff was on computer disk.  I also did some telemarketing.  That didn’t last very long either.
I am going into this adventure with Joe and Ginny because I believe that it could work and I share the same vision.
